New Construction Treatments
AEL Pest Solutions offers our builder partners several options for pre-construction termite treatment. By taking these preventative measures, the builders are protecting their clients from the ever-present threat that termite pose to all homes and buildings. We offer the following treatments for pre-treats:
- Liquid soil treatment using an approved termiticide
- Borate wood treatment
- Baiting system
Liquid Soil Treatment
This option is completed in the initial stages of construction. We will treat the soil with an approved termiticide before the foundation or slab is poured. All areas will be treated according to the State Department of Agriculture standards.
Borate Wood Treatment
This option is completed before sheet rock is installed and occurs around the same time plumbing and electrical are installed. At AEL Pest Solutions, we will treat all wood construction components in contact with the foundation or slab. This includes studs, sheathing and sills..
Baiting System
The Advance® Termite Bait System is installed during the final part of construction after landscaping is complete. Bait stations are installed in the ground around the perimeter of the foundation. Quarterly inspection of the bait stations is necessary for the homeowner to continue termite warranty coverage..
